We Can Build a Better, More Just World
Wisconsin Province Jesuits, along with all members of the international Society, share a common mission to develop Christian leaders through a wide range of ministries including schools, retreat houses, parishes and volunteer organizations. View a list of our ministries.
Strengthening the Church through evangelization, the struggle for social justice and reconciliation, and the promotion of sustainable human development, Jesuits are immersed in a variety of projects worldwide.
A Union of Hearts and Minds
In the spirit of collaboration and solidarity with their fellow Jesuits, the Wisconsin Province has a twinning or mutual support agreement with the five-country Eastern Africa Province, the Kohima Region of Northeast India, and the Province of Ecuador. Twinning involves an exchange of ideas and personnel, the sharing of educational resources and occasional financial support.
Around the Globe
In addition to these twinning agreements, the Province supports the work of Wisconsin Jesuits working in Honduras, Belize, Argentina, Sri Lanka and Korea.
The Wisconsin Province also responds to humanitarian concerns and natural disasters through the recent relief and re-building work of the Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) in areas such as South/Southeast Asia (Tsunami) and in other areas of refugee presence such as Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia.
